A wedding website suggested The Dominion House as it was close to the venue for the wedding. I spoke to Susie, the proprietor, asking about accessibility, and she was incredibly helpful before we even arrived. This is everything you want in a bed and breakfast. Beautifully appointed rooms, the house is magnificent, as are the grounds. We were there for 4 nights and each breakfast was different and a delight, which came with great conversations from other guests and Susie and her husband Eric. But you also can be as private as you want. A private refuge, a little slice of heaven! I cannot recommend The Dominion House enough. Perfect!

Dominion House is a wonderful B&B, situated on a scenic and tranquil property perfect for a weekend getaway. My wife and I went for a nearby wedding, and used it as an excuse for a long weekend. Rooms have historic charm but modern consciences like WiFi, TV, air conditioning, etc. The pool yard and sauna is a stand out, but the BREAKFAST is exceptional and worth the price of admission alone. Susie and Eric are kind and courteous hosts, who are super friendly and very easy to talk to. Would recommend to anyone.

Our son's wedding reception was held at The Dominion House in early June. With extended family coming from all over the country, our hosts, Susie and Eric, were incredibly accommodating and provided a wonderful place for several of us to "land" during all the set up activities and the event itself. From the endless attention to detail in each room of the inn to the incredible food, sweeping farm landscape, beautiful horses, and pristine pool, our experience could not have been any better. Between wedding activities we were able to relax by the pool and reminisced with family in front of the outdoor fire each evening. The impressive library was a favorite gathering place for pre-breakfast coffee. Breakfasts were beyond compare with Susie's homemade scones and muffins coupled with a variety of fresh fruit and other tasty creations. It was the perfect venue for our special celebration and both Eric and Susie went out of their way to support us. With an abundance of nearby activities and access to trails right from the property, this Hudson Valley gem can also serve as a complete retreat for quiet and tranquility or a relaxing home base to refresh between adventures.

My wife and I enjoyed an extremely nice stay last weekend for a nearby wedding. Our hosts, Susie and Eric, struck the perfect balance between attentiveness and invisibility. They seemed to have thought of everything that a guest might need -- the sense of being welcome in their home was a real treat. The inn and the grounds were very clean and well maintained. We enjoyed the outdoors, and the friendly horses were an extra bonus. Breakfast was truly outstanding on both days. and we enjoyed the ambiance and authenticity of the historic home. Beautiful house on lovely property with neat patio and pool.Susie is a wonderful host and great cook too. The breakfasts were fantastic. Enjoyed many conversations with her. Got to meet her husband Eric and mom, Kathie too. Every room is filled with nice antiques. Many places to sit both inside and outside. The horses next door are a bonus to enjoy. Not far from several good restaurants also. If you are looking to relax in a very quiet and peaceful setting, then this is the place for you. HIghy recommend.

Very accommodating, rooms were comfortable and clean. Breakfast was great. Overall quick but great stay. Will definitely stay again.
